How we collect, use and protect your information.
SITARA (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Sitara Haute marketplace at yourstore.in, connecting customers with independent artisan vendors across India. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. It is published in line with India’s Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules.
By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to this policy. If you disagree with any part, please contact us before using the service.
Account details: name, email address, mobile number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
Order details: products purchased, delivery address and phone number.
Custom stitching data: body measurements and design files or photos you upload for bespoke work.
Communication records: WhatsApp chats, support tickets and call notes with our tailoring team.
Technical data: device, IP address, browser and pages visited.
All payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. We never receive or store your full card numbers, UPI PINs or banking credentials. For Cash on Delivery orders, the courier partner collects the amount in cash at your door.
We use your information to: process and deliver your orders; share stitching instructions with the artisan fulfilling your order; send OTPs, order updates and delivery notifications; provide support on WhatsApp, email and phone; send marketing messages only where you have opted in; and prevent fraud. You can opt out of marketing at any time by replying STOP.
Your order details are shared with the vendor who fulfils your order, our courier partners (Delhivery, Bluedart, XpressBees and similar), Razorpay for payment processing, and analytics tools in anonymised form. We may also disclose information where required by Indian law. We never sell your personal data.
We use session cookies to keep you logged in, cart cookies to remember your bag, preference cookies and anonymised analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the cart and login will stop working.
All traffic runs over SSL encryption. Access to order data is restricted to trained staff. Order and invoice records are retained for up to 8 years as required by tax law. Measurement data and uploaded designs are deleted with your account unless there is a pending order or dispute.
You may access, correct, export or delete your personal data from your My Account page or by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your profile and measurements, subject to legal retention of order records. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time.
